Industrial Sales Manager – Lubricants

In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of our business evolution, orchestrating strategic initiatives and ensuring the overall growth and success of our operations. Seamlessly blending strategic business management, team leadership, and customer relationship management, your responsibilities span a wide spectrum of key areas.


Strategic Business Management:

  • Drive the evolution of our business by closely monitoring critical KPIs, overseeing the activities of Direct Sales and DMS INDUS, and ensuring alignment with our organizational goals.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead the Direct Sales and DMS INDUSTRY team through insightful KPI analysis, comprehensive field visits, and detailed reporting. Your role involves providing crucial technical and commercial support, addressing queries, and contributing to discussions on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Training and Knowledge Management:

  • Foster a high-performance team by conducting impactful commercial and technical training. Manage and distribute essential information, including Product Data Sheets (PDS), Safety Data Sheets (FISPQ), Field Execution (FE), NSF, CA, etc.

Strategic Pricing and Planning:

  • Shape our business development strategy by developing and implementing price lists, utilizing tools like SALSA for streamlined planning, business reviews, and overall sales activities.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Align with the Specialties Director’s sales strategy, managing the Technical Sales Consultant team and fostering collaboration across departments.

Customer Development and Relationship Management:

  • Enhance our outreach by developing B2B customer relationships, managing Key Accounts (KA), and efficiently coordinating activities through CRM Sales Force.

Sales Planning and Budgeting:

  • Drive strategic decisions by creating and implementing sales budgets, forecasts, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP). Keep a vigilant eye on the sales team’s activities through effective monitoring and follow-up (FUP).

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Empower decision-making with comprehensive sales reports, analyzing volume and margin data to extract valuable insights.

Global Relationship Management:

  • Take charge as the primary contact for company affiliates, maintaining crucial relationships with headquarters and collaborating across departments.

Field Visits, Collaboration, and Event Participation:

  • Inject a hands-on approach by conducting monthly field visits, collaborating closely with DMS INDUSTRY and the Technical Sales Consultant teams, and actively participating in industry events.

Total Cost of Operations (TCO) Development:

  • Optimize operational efficiency by collaborating with the best DMS INDUSTRY and Direct Sales teams to develop a robust Total Cost of Operations (TCO).

Strategic Market Development and Stakeholder Relationship Management:

  • Define strategic industrial markets, cultivate business in key segments, and foster positive relationships with customers, the sales team, and colleagues, aligning with Company Direction objectives.


  • Higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry Engineering, Business Administration or related areas.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Minimum 10 years of technical and commercial experience in industrial segments applications.
  • Demonstrated managerial knowledge.
  • Advanced proficiency in English; proficiency in French is highly desirable.
