We are looking for a Controlling Manager to join our team at a business consultancy specializing in financial processes, with an emphasis on implementing income statements (DRE), balance sheets and cash flow management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 2-3 employees, ensuring the accuracy of financial controls and the efficient execution of financial processes. In addition, this professional will be responsible for reporting all financial information to the foreign headquarters of client companies.
Responsibilities:
- Team leadership: Supervising and guiding a team of 2 to 3 professionals, ensuring that all controlling activities are carried out effectively and within the established deadlines.
- Implementing Financial Processes: Coordinate the implementation of financial processes, including the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow management, ensuring compliance with financial and accounting regulations.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing detailed and accurate financial reports, which will be communicated to the foreign headquarters of client companies, providing essential information for strategic decision-making.
- Strategic Functions: Taking on a strategic role, acting as a kind of CEO in certain situations, influencing the hiring of professionals, solving logistical problems and dealing with tax issues, with the help of internal and external professionals when necessary.
- Tax Management: Ensuring compliance with all the tax obligations of client companies, seeking to optimize the tax burden whenever possible.
Requirements:
- Intermediate to advanced Italian required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (Master’s or MBA will be considered a plus).
- Previous experience in controllership or finance functions, preferably in business consultancy.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial and tax regulations.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the company to clients and partners.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools.
