• Identify and assess regulatory risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance of the firm’s operations with regulatory standards.
• Oversee the drafting and review of contracts and legal documents related to regulatory activities, ensuring that they comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Represent the firm in negotiations with regulatory agencies, attending meetings, hearings, and other relevant events.
• Monitor and analyze the decisions and positions of regulatory agencies, assessing their impact on the firm’s business and providing strategic guidance.
• Collaborate with other internal teams, such as Compliance and Operations, to ensure continued compliance with regulatory standards and implementation of best practices.
• Follow and participate in regulatory industry associations and forums, keeping up to date on regulatory trends and changes that may affect the companies.
• Develop and deliver internal training on relevant regulatory issues, aimed at increasing knowledge and awareness among office staff.
• Maintain proper records and documentation of all regulatory activities and processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
• Contribute to building and strengthening the company’s reputation before regulatory agencies, customers, and other stakeholders by acting as a trusted and respected representative.
• Actively collaborate in the development of legal and regulatory strategies to guide the firm’s activities, ensuring compliance with the specific rules and regulations of each regulatory agency mentioned.
• Perform risk analysis and provide preventive legal guidance to anticipate potential regulatory issues, promoting risk mitigation and informed decision making.
• Closely monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations, keeping the legal team and clients up to date on the implications and impacts of these changes, as well as developing adaptation and compliance strategies.

• Strong expertise in regulatory affairs with regulatory agencies, such as ANP, CVM, CADE, among others, preferably with a master’s degree in related areas, such as Regulatory Law or Civil Law.
• Relevant experience in law firms in regulatory matters with the mentioned agencies, including acting as a legal counsel, boutique and/or in large law firms.
• A profile of prompt reaction to administrative, regulatory, and judicial proceedings before the mentioned agencies.
• Mastery in litigation before the mentioned regulatory agencies, presenting new theses/solutions for the group and capable of dealing with high volume and strategic themes.
• Leadership and team management skills, as well as being able to work in a team.
• Ability to think “outside the box” and seek innovative solutions even in adverse scenarios.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Fluency in English will be considered a plus.
