Product Manager (Pharmaceutical/Oncology and Immunology)

Our client is a multinational pharmaceutical company that address significant unmet medical needs across multiple cancers, including NPC, Melanoma, Lung Cancer, Esophageal Cancer and other diseases. They are committed to launching their latest product, and are seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to lead the strategic and tactical execution of its commercial launch in Brazil.

 

The position

As the Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial success of its launch in Brazil. Reporting to the Marketing Head – Brazil and collaborating closely with the Global Center of Excellence within the Emerging Markets Business Unit, you will spearhead the development and implementation of robust launch plans. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in an area of high unmet medical need, shaping the future of oncology treatment in Brazil.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive commercial launch strategies in Brazil, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including medical affairs, market access, and regulatory.
  • Adapt and craft brand messaging and communication strategies tailored to the Brazilian oncology market, leveraging local insights and customer understanding.
  • Implement omnichannel tactics targeting healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients, and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution and effectiveness.
  • Lead market research initiatives to shape brand strategy, working closely with agencies to gather customer insights.
  • Drive innovative and impactful promotional campaigns aligned with global strategies, while addressing competitor activities.
  • Provide feedback and insights from the Brazilian perspective to the global Center of Excellence team, influencing market requirements and strategy.
  • Identify and capitalize on digital opportunities to enhance brand visibility and engagement, driving business growth.
  • Manage marketing budgets effectively, allocate resources strategically, and track performance metrics to maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate with supply, finance, compliance, and regulatory teams to ensure alignment with brand strategy and compliance standards.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with partner agencies, oversee project workflows, and manage related budgets efficiently.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry, with expertise in marketing, launch excellence, or oncology.
  • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Prior experience in healthcare professional (HCP) marketing.
  • Deep understanding of the Brazilian oncology landscape, including HCPs, payers, and pharmacy stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in developing brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and segmentation.
  • Experience across multiple promotional channels, including personal, non-personal, and digital marketing.
  • Previous involvement in new product launches.
  • Fluent english conversation proficiency.
