We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Information Technology (IT) Manager to lead the IT team and ensure the efficiency and security of the information systems and infrastructure of a large company in the urban transportation segment. As Information Technology (IT) Manager you will be responsible for managing hardware and software resources, developing internal policies and procedures, ensuring data security, and supervising IT staff. You will be instrumental in driving technological innovation and ensuring the integrity of systems, as well as supporting the daily operations of the company.

• Manage the company’s infrastructure, including machine park, servers, and other IT-related equipment.
• Ensure data security, network access, and backup systems by implementing effective security measures.
• Develop, formalize, and implement internal IT-related policies and procedures.
• Define internal standards for risk mitigation, information safeguarding and recovery.
• Evaluate, develop, implement, and coordinate the integration of information systems for management support.
• Elaborate rules and mechanisms for user access, according to the company’s needs.
• Provide support to users and promote the knowledge of the functionalities of the systems, aiming at the best use of the resources.
• Promote automation and continuous improvement, replacing manual processes with automated solutions.
• Ensure the control and integrity of IT assets.
• Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT operations, providing support for the company’s end activities.
• Manage the IT team by recruiting, developing, mentoring, aligning and monitoring performance levels.
• Perform system audits and evaluate the results obtained.
• Manage the annual IT budget, including capital expenditure (capex) and operational expenditure (opex).

• Previous experience as an IT manager or in related positions.
• Solid knowledge in technical management, information analysis, and hardware/software systems.
• Expertise in storage management, security, and data governance.
• Hands-on experience in computer network installation and administration.
• Proven experience in people management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Understanding of business processes and the interaction of IT with these processes.
• Systemic vision and focus on innovation aligned with the business objectives.
