We are looking for a highly qualified professional to fill the position of New Product Manager, you will be part of a cross-functional team and play a key role in developing and innovating new products within the company’s existing lines. You will work closely with R&D, packaging, engineering, marketing, sales and even export departments, providing valuable insights and driving the new product launch strategy.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and consumer behavior analysis to identify new product opportunities and market trends related to the food industry.
- Manage the new product development process from concept to launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet customer expectations and company innovation goals.
- Develop strategies for new product launches, including market positioning, target audience segmentation, pricing, and communication, in partnership with the marketing and sales teams.
- Coordinate and conduct market testing and feasibility analyses to assess the potential success of new products.
- Develop a broad knowledge of the competition and the market by monitoring industry trends, competitors’ practices, and consumer demands.
- Collaborate with the production department to ensure the technical feasibility and manufacturing efficiency of new products.
- Maintain a close relationship with suppliers and external partners, seeking strategic partnerships to drive innovation and the development of new products.
- Monitor the performance of newly launched products, analyze the results, and make strategic adjustments when necessary.
- Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the company, encouraging collaboration and idea sharing among teams.
Requirements
- Education in a related field such as Food Engineering, Nutrition, Marketing or related field.
- Proven experience in new product management, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge in market research and consumer behavior.
- Experience in designing new product launch strategies from concept stage to market.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in teams with different areas of the company.
- Strategic vision and ability to make decisions based on data and analysis.
- Leadership skills and project management skills.
- Knowledge of food industry regulations will be considered a plus.
- Advanced English will be a plus.
