Associate Counsel – Employment | Mass Litigation

The position

The professional will oversee and manage labor-related lawsuits and disputes involving employees, service providers, and other parties, ensuring effective resolution in compliance with legal standards. They will handle employment law issues, including mass litigation cases, and develop strategies for managing litigation, employment, and commercial disputes. The candidate will provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on employment-related matters and represent the company in legal proceedings and negotiations, collaborating closely with external counsel when necessary.

 

Responsibilites

  • Oversee and manage labor-related lawsuits and disputes, including those involving employees, service providers, and other parties;
  • Handle employment law issues and mass litigation cases, ensuring effective resolution and compliance with legal standards;
  • Develop and implement strategies for managing litigation, employment and commercial disputes;
  • Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on employment-related matters;
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings and negotiations, working closely with external counsel as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, with a strong foundation in employment and labor law.
  • Proven experience in managing labor-related lawsuits and disputes, including those involving employees, service providers, and other parties.
  • Deep understanding of employment law, with the ability to handle and resolve mass litigation cases, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective strategies for managing litigation, as well as employment and commercial disputes.
  • Expertise in providing legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on employment-related matters.
  • Experience representing the company in legal proceedings and negotiations, with the capability to work closely with external counsel as needed.
  • Advanced to fluent proficiency in English.
